Welcome to the Rehoboth Congregational Church! We are so excited that you are interested in joining our church family. We are a medium-sized congregation, a member of the protestant denomination, the United Church of Christ. While we are located in Rehoboth, MA, our membership actually extends far beyond our town borders. If you don't live in Rehoboth, that's okay! A lot of our members don't, either. We would love to meet you, no matter who you are, where you live or where you are on your journey through life.
If you were to ask most of our members what they love most about RCC, the overwhelming response would be, our community. Simply put, we are a church that cares about one another. We do not always agree with one another, but we always love one another as we seek to live out Jesus' commandment to love God and love people. We are not perfect - no one (or church) is! But every day we show up and we are faithful - faithful to God, faithful to our church and faithful to one another.
We have a heart for missions and love working with local organizations where we know we can make a real and tangible difference. We regularly host drives and meals, as well as fundraisers that allow us to make monetary donations to local individuals and organizations in need. Every year, our Youth Group participates in our annual Homeless Awareness Weekend, an event that, over the past decade, has donated over $100,000 to local organizations working to end hunger and homelessness and also individuals in need.
We love children and believe that the promises we make to them in baptism are ones that we need to live out every single day. Our Church School program provides a place where our children are safe, happy and learning about what it means to be a Christian. We host fun events for families throughout the year, which include our beloved Christmas pageant, Trunk or Treat (re-imagined during covid to be a traveling Candy Crawl!), movie nights and more.
There is always something going on at RCC. We believe church should be fun! We love hosting events that bring people together, everything from our annual church bazaar to our many suppers and food festivals, to our special worship services to blessings to bible studies and more. There really is something for everyone in our church community!
If you are interested in learning more about the church, please fill out a connection card and a member of the Board of Deacons will reach out to you! If you would like to join us for worship, we would love to meet you! We worship on Sunday mornings at 10AM. Masks are optional but, if you are not quite ready for in-person worship yet (or just want to spy a little bit before you come in person!), we would invite you to worship virtually with us - our worship services are streamed live on Facebook and our Website and then later uploaded to Our Worship Archive (These Are Available For 1 Year From The Original Streaming Date)
